A chatbot is an A.I. program designed to have conversations. Modern chatbots are trained on enormous amounts of text, so they can answer questions, explain ideas, and help with writing.
2. Writing good prompts
A prompt is the instruction you give an A.I. Specific prompts get better results. Compare "sharks" with "Give me 3 surprising facts about great white sharks for a school report."
3. Generative A.I.
Generative A.I. creates new content — stories, images, music, and computer code. It doesn't copy one example; it combines patterns it learned from many examples.
4. Hallucinations
Sometimes A.I. confidently states things that are false or made up. This is called a hallucination. That's why you should always verify important facts.
